On the first Friday of every month, Bixby Knolls goes big. The shopping area’s retail stores and restaurants stay open late as thousands pack the sidewalks enjoying live music, special discounts, food samples and a general festive atmosphere.
We decided to step our celebration up a notch Friday, July 6th by offering free “LB” tattoos. Not only was it a hit, we had to turn people away.
In the video above, we asked everyone in line to identify why Long Beach is so important to them. We got some pretty heartfelt answers.
